2012 Investigative Excellence Award
California Commission on Police Office Standards (POST) Institute for Criminal Investigation (ICI)
This award is given to an individual investigator, law enforcement task force or agency bureau that has conducted intensive and complex investigations ranging from narcotics to identity theft to homicide. The Award Selection Committee reviews numerous nominations and considers innovative investigative techniques used by investigator(s); any type of technology utilized; tenacity of the investigator(s); sophistication of the crime / suspects; and demonstrated leadership as part of the evaluation criteria. Although each submission is deserving of recognition, only a select few are chosen to receive this Award.
2012 Law Enforcement Appreciation Award
American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) San Francisco Bay Area Chapter
On March 15, 2012, the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) International hosted the 50th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Event at the Crown Plaza in Foster City, California. The Chapter membership consists of a wide spectrum of security professionals, including managers and directors of many Fortune 500 companies. The Chapter invited law enforcement agencies from the bay area to recognize 34 individual law enforcement officers who distinguished themselves through exemplary service and devotion to duty.

Awarded the the HTCIA Case of the Year Award along with REACT Task Force Agent Tim Crowley for our work on the Unigen Robbery that occurred in Fremont, California on February 27th of 2011.
