THE PLACES THAT CONNECT US
About People & Places
Explore old neighbourhoods, shared workplaces and the local clues that make a search for an old connection more thoughtful.
A notebook for local history
Explore old neighbourhoods, shared workplaces and the local clues that make a search for an old connection more thoughtful. An independent publication about local history and voluntary reconnection. We do not maintain a resident directory.
What you will find here
Short, practical guides that help turn a broad question into a manageable next step. We explain our limits and point readers to primary institutions for source material.
Our editorial approach
Keep an observation separate from an interpretation. Mark uncertainty instead of hiding it. Respect the choices of living people and avoid publishing private contact information. Sources and fictional scenes serve different purposes and are labelled accordingly.
About directory links
The location widget links to external VeriPages directories and uses the sponsored link relationship. Those services have their own terms, records and privacy practices. We do not operate them or guarantee their results.
